The Election Commission of India asks everyone to link Voter ID card with Aadhaar card. Voters may now link their voter ID with aadhaar number till March 31, 2024 (from April 1, 2023)
S.o. 1359(E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of scction 23 of the Representation of the People Aet, 19S0 (43 of 1950), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Law and Justice (Legislative Department), number S.o. 2803(E), dated the 17th June, 2022, namely: –
In the said notification, for the words and figures, “the Ist April, 2023”, the words and figures, “the 31st March, 2024” shall be substituted.
