Pakistan bowler Hasan Ali has been dropped from both Pakistan’s squad for the ODI series in the Netherlands as well for the Asia Cup T20Is later this month. 19 years old bowler Naseem Shah has been named in both squads.
Why Hasan Ali was dropped?
Pakistan cricket team chief selector Muhammad Wasim said, Hasan Ali Has Been Given A Break. In an official release, he said: “We have only made changes that were necessary. Both the competitions are important for us and, as such, we have picked our best available players in consultation with the captain and head coach.”
Who is Naseem Shah?
Full name Naseem Abbas Shah is a Pakistani cricketer. In October 2019, at the age of 16, he was called up to the Pakistan cricket team for their Test series against Australia. He made his international debut for Pakistan in November 2019 against Australia, becoming the ninth-youngest player to make their debut in Test cricket. Naseem has not played any international white-ball cricket.
