METEOROLOGICAL DEPARTMENT’S PREDICTION
The MeT office has said that the weather shall remain dry in plains for at least November 20 in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
“A feeble Western Disturbance is likely to affect the region during November 21-23rd which may cause light to moderate snow over higher reaches especially northern parts of Kashmir.”
KASHMIR WEATHER’S PREDICTION
Mostly dry weather conditions are expected till end of this month. A weak Western Disturbance will affect Jammu and Kashmir from tomorrow and may cause partly cloudy to overcast weather across J&K.
Light snowfall can occur at a few places in higher reaches. Thereafter, mostly dry weather will continue till 28th November.
During the last 6 days of the current month, around 3 Western Disturbances are expected. However, all may turn out to be weak and may not even result in showers.
Albeit, there is a weak possibility (15-20%) that the WD around 30th November may cause rains and snow. More will be updated in the coming days as things get clear.
